HISTORY OF OUR CLUB
Fox Hollow Ladies Golf Club was chartered in 1993 with 106 members. There were 74 18-hole members and 32 9-hole members. Barbara Kenyon was the Chair of the FHLGA Organizational Committee. The 1993 Charter Members included: Bonnie Blevins, Judy Brim, Dee Cozzi, Marianne Ceriani, Judi Hart, Donna MacKelvie, Dolly Moreno, Weslie Phillips, Lori Scruggs, Kate Scherrer, Cindy Slinkard, and Vickie Sugar.
The first meeting of the FHLGA-18 was held on November 10, 1993. Craig Parzybok, Fox Hollow Golf Course Head Pro, addressed the following topics with the group: instituting a 90 degree cart rule, encouraging the members to wear soft-spike shoes or tennis-type shoes, both groups (9 and 18 hole) would play each of the three courses in as equal a proportion as possible, an effort would be made to keep crews and equipment out of the way in order to eliminate confrontations, both groups would play from the red tees, and pin placements during tournaments would not be those that are the most difficult.
At the December 8, 1993 meeting, the Board changed the name of the group to Fox Hollow Ladies Golf Club-18.
